Last fall we launched the "Facts About Quixtar" DVD to help IBOs respond to tough questions about our business. As with all tools we provide to IBOs, we want to provide them for free or cover our costs. We're excited to be able to now provide all of that content for free on the Web.  Check it out!  You can also go to QuixtarFacts.com for more answers on a variety of topics about our business.

I just checked out quixtarfacts.com and it's great. I'm glad the company is finally meeting all these questions and comments head on. I also like your seasonal pictures of the company buildings. We'll see you in June!

You only half-answered some of the questions. We'll look forward to the other half in the near future.

What's new?   That stuff has been up for a while.   I love the part about why it is not a cult!

Here's some additional clarity on the "half-answers" I mentioned above.

The discussion on tools mentioned money is made on tools, and some IBO's make more on tools than A/Q.

If you wanted true tranparency, you would require the various tool systems to state what a typical Emerald's rough percentage of income is from A/Q and what percentage is from tools.

We look forward to this addition to the next revision of the video. "Go talk with your upline, and find out what the typical Emerald, Diamond, and other pins make on your tool purchases. They are very proud of their tool profits from your purchases, and would be glad to discuss what you can make when you reach these levels in the business."

Oh Tex. We love your passion. To reiterate what we've said in here before, we are working with IBO leaders on tools, on disclosure, on everything you raise on an hourly basis in here. Will you see a blow-by-blow of those conversations in here?  No.  But please be patient!

.

And Robin (hey, that's my name!), the content at www.factsaboutquixtar.com has been out on a DVD since November, with a few clips at www.quixtarfacts.com since then, but this is the first time all the content from the DVD is online in one place at the same time.

Oh Kia. I love your reminders Q is still actively working on the tool profit issue.

If I don't ask, there doesn't seem to be much change. Throw us a bone now and then, we'll be happier. Assuming there are intermediate steps along the way, let us know what these are, and the rough schedule for these steps.

.

Hourly? Hardly, but I know what you're getting at, and I appreciate your frustration. However, we (IBO's in general) have been waiting for 24 YEARS, so get in the back of the line.

.

I'm not looking for "blow-by-blow" feedback of your conversations, but it is good to know you are still involved in these discussions.

Kia: Tex and I are not going to go away until this tool fiasco is over. Quixtar management still doesn't get it. If you would go to one of my upline Diamond's open meetings and see him show the plan, you'd have grounds to throw him out. The guy just simply can't (or won't) tell the truth. He should run for Congress. He runs his entire tool business the same way. His lies literally blew out one of my 1500 PV legs. The ONLY WAY to end this tool baloney is to end the tool systems once and for all. See my March 12 post on Ada-Tudes under "The 'T' Word." Until the tool systems are GONE, we are not going away. Deal with it. It's not because Tex and I don't care--it's because we DO care. Get rid of the tool systems and I'll bet Quixtar would double it's volume in 2 years.(And your picture looks like you drink way too much XS Energy drink.)

Thanks Jeffrey and Tex for your continued support. I laud you for your passion about this business. I don't drink too much XS, but I do drink lots of coffee. Too much, in fact.

.

I'm sorry for your bad experiences, and for the many others who have had similar experiences. We're working with IBOs on the issues you've raised. We've shared some of the specifics, but we can't share all of them. I hope you understand, but expect you may not.

Kia,

.

Would you like to work with a couple of supportive, passionate, and enlightened IBO's? I don't know about Jeffrey, but I'm up for it.

.

You shouldn't be sorry for our bad experiences, you didn't have any hand in it.

.

Plus, I have been around long enough to know that saying you're sorry is a technique for reducing the stress level, whether it is said with a sincere motivation or not.

.

We're looking for results, not apologies.

.

However, you can be part of not having to say you are sorry to other IBO's in the future.

.

Regarding XS, I was at a major function once when everyone who drank an XS every day was asked to stand up.

.

Then, we were told to stay standing if you drank two every day.

.

Then, we were told to stay standing if we drank three every day.

.

One or two people kept standing and were loudly applauded by all, lead by the higher pin on the stage.

.

This is part of the culture of excessiveness that is also encouraged in product and tool consumption in general.

.

I understand you probably wouldn't have any health issues with this much XS in your system, as the B vitamins are water soluble, etc., but at some point all you get is very expensive pee.

.

Also, I don't know how much of the other ingredients can be consumed before a potential problem may arise, or when negligible benefits would be realized, but as our mothers taught us, everything in moderation. Not excess XS.

.

So watch that coffee, too. Your mother or other "motherly figure" might be reading this. :-)

.

It would be interesting to get some feedback on this issue from the experts. I sent e-mails to Nutrilite and BLI, and will report their responses. However, if you have any "inside track" on these issues, any other information would be appreciated.

.

The New Zealand and United Kingdom XS Gear sites recommend a maximum of one can (or squirt, in the case of those of us who buy the syrup) per day.

.

I understand you can't share all the specifics, I said so in my previous post.

.

I think you should consider Jeffrey and myself to be like a couple of Marines: No better friend, no worse enemy.

.

Obviously, without the physical violence implications.

.

For now I have chosen to be your friend.

Here's the response from Dr. Chet, received yesterday.

.

Question: Do you have a recommended maximum amount of XS Energy that should be consumed before either adverse effects and/or marginal benefits would be realized?

.

Answer: There is really no set number. For some people, two are too much because they won't sleep at night. For others, a six pack per day would be fine.

It depends on why you're using the product. If you just like the taste and it keeps you going, no problem. But if you're looking for a boost, the more often you use it, the less likely you are to get that effect.

Here's the question and response from Quixtar. Note they did not respond to the "negligible benefits" part of the question, even though I was even more specific in mentioning the UK and New Zealand recommendations.

[Tex's Question:]  Is there a maximum amount of XS Energy Drink you would recommend on a daily basis before there are either adverse effects and/or negligible benefits would be realized? I noticed the XS Gear site has a recommended limit of one can per day in the United Kingdom and New Zealand, but not in the US or Canada.

[Quixtar's Response:] Thank you for the inquiry regarding the maximum amounts of XS Energy Drinks can be consumed daily.

The makers of the XS Energy Drinks state that 4 drinks should be the maximum a healthy person could consume daily.
