True IBO Stories
Tuesday, April 10, 2007
Over the past few years, it has been my privilege to help share true IBO stories through a number of vehicles, like
www.thisbiznow.com,
Success from Home Magazine, and the
"Facts About Quixtar" DVD (and, now, website). Lots of stories have been shared about this business by many people with many different viewpoints. We've shared thousands of them ourselves through
Achieve Magazine, but those stories have only been shared with IBOs, so our more recent initiatives are significant in helping bring balance to the online dialog about people's experiences in our business.
Even with all of our communications, there are MORE stories to be told. There are as many stories as there are IBOs. People don't think their personal stories have an impact, but they do! Each person's experience helps shed light on this opportunity for others who are in the business or considering joining. That's why the new
True IBO Stories blog is so exciting to me. It will provide a place for IBOs to tell their own stories and not wait for the editor of
Achieve to call. I hope IBOs take advantage of this opportunity to share their experience and let people know how the Quixtar business has made a difference in their lives.
Meanwhile, work on the other initiatives continues. This week we're doing more tapings for
www.thisbiznow.com, and we're planning a new version of the DVD with content from that site for this fall (as part of the Straight Talk bundle). That DVD also will be included free in the new version of
Success from Home magazine that will be published late this year. I met with the publisher and editor last week in Dallas about our new issue, and heard many great stories about how other companies have used that magazine and other tools to get their opportunity story into the hands of prospects.
In the final analysis, I view my role here at Quixtar as "storyteller." Stories about the company and how it supports individuals who want a business of their own. Stories about products that truly make a difference in the lives of people. And stories about IBOs -- real people with real lives and real issues and real successes to share. As a former journalist and a communicator, I'm thrilled to have such rich content to share. I'm also thrilled there are more ways than ever to share these stories. I hope you take a moment to share with
Achieve Editor
Nick Katsarelas your personal story.
