History of Achievement
Tuesday, November 20, 2007

Tonight or tomorrow I'm leaving to celebrate Thanksgiving in Wisconsin. Then on Sunday I fly to Florida for Achievers, where I hope to help IBOs celebrate their awesome achievements as IBOs and help them as they prepare to build their businesses even bigger!

Today I spent a few moments to visit the Alticor Visitor Center. At one time, several years ago, this area was something I supervised.  It's much different today after the big investment the company put into it a few years ago.  It's a great place to be reminded of the history behind this business, the innovation that the IBO Compensation Plan and Nutrilite supplements and LOC multipurpose cleaner and Quixtar itself represented when launched.

Alticor Visitor Center

I think we all need to approach this business with the idea of reinvention every day. When you stop discovering new ways to do the business even better, you start down the slippery slope of doing the business the way you did yesterday, last week, last year, 20 years ago. I'm excited to be a part of a business that is committed to changing for the better, on an ongoing basis.

I hope to meet some of you at Achievers!  Stop by the Reputation area and chat awhile.  Maybe even post a comment on one of our blogs!

Speaking of big investments by the company, what they are doing with Fanista is interesting. http://www.blueridgenow.com/article/20071120/ZNYT01/711200333/1042/NEWS01/ZNYT01/Amway_Adds_Entertainment_to_Product_Line

Yeah, the Fanista deal is very interesting. Will that be incorporated as a new product line/partner store for IBO's or a different business for alticore altogether? I know the Devoss and Van Andel Families own many different companies but would hope they incorporate this into the compensation plan since it works on a referral basis. Reminds me of a company someone tried to recruit me into called Burn Lounge.
